Survey

Radiotherapy Survey

Rachel Robinson is a final year Radiotherapy student at Cardiff University and new to research. She is undertaking a research study into the perception of patients who have undergone Radiotherapy. She wants to know how they feel about a congratulations certificate to mark the end of their treatment, based on a certificate, which is currently used in some Canadian cancer centres.

The research area is new and the results could be beneficial for the welfare of cancer patients undertaking Radiotherapy treatment.

It simply involves completing a short questionnaire via survey monkey . There are a total of 12 questions, all answers are completely anonymous so no one will be identified and it should take around 5-10 minutes to complete.

This project has also been ethically approved and reviewed by The School of Healthcare Sciences, Cardiff University, Research Ethics Committee.

Thank you for your time,

Rachel Robinson

Northern Cancer Voices is a NHS led project that is funded by Macmillan. This project involves patients, carers and professionals working together to improve cancer outcomes in the Northern Region.
The purpose of this project is to develop a plan that will provide patients, carers and families with opportunities to share their experiences of cancer care and treatment.
The plan will also identify ways in which people can work in partnership with health professionals to shape NHS cancer services in our region.

To help us develop this plan, we are currently speaking to people in our region to understand their views on how best to create these opportunities to get involved.
We would welcome your views and comments on this topic and would like to invite you to complete our very short survey at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/C9LF5C2
To learn more about the project, please read the first edition of the project bulletin at https://mailchi.mp/9253140ef6fb/welcome-to-our-bulletin-365569
